Protective Services Case Manager

Full-time, 35 hours/weekNOT remoteFull-time position in Protective Services Unit of Elder Services Agency.
Duties include intake, investigation, service plans and monitoring cases of abuse and neglect of elders.
Requires home visits, knowledge of community resources, ability to work with families, case writing, record keeping and word processing skills.
Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation and be available for rotating on-call duties.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Masters or higher degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, and at least one year of experience in counseling, casework, case management, preferably in a Protective Services or crisis intervention role; or (b) A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, and at least two years of experience in counseling, casework or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services.
LSW preferred.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)If you are employed by a not-for-profit organization such as GSSSI, you may be eligible for the PSLF Program for student loans.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
