, is a public interest, private law firm in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Formed in 1996, we are driven by a commitment to social, economic, and racial justice.

We provide exceptional civil legal services to poor people in western Massachusetts; we support community-based organizations and center the voices of those most impacted by systemic inequality through community lawyering; and we collaborate with change-agents to effect legislative and policy reform in Massachusetts.
We serve low-income clients in cases involving tenant's rights, employee rights, unemployment, housing discrimination, and consumer protection cases.
We focus on serving clients who are not able to obtain free assistance from local legal services offices and cannot afford to pay the retainers and hourly rates charged by most private attorneys.
