The Vann Group is currently seeking to hire an Analyst to assist with our active mergers & acquisition and succession/transition planning practice. The analyst will have two primary areas of responsibility:
Support the advisory team in new client acquisition efforts. This includes market research and analysis, development of pitch materials, coordination of events and support of general marketing activities
Assist in active merger & acquisition transaction execution including, but not limited to: financial analysis, model creation, preparing a written prospectus or memorandum, buyer/seller sourcing, due diligence, attending client meetings managing data rooms, and any other support services required to assist in closing an engagement
The successful candidate will possess the following capabilities:
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter who has the ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
Proactive and detail oriented.
Committed to managing the expectations of the advisory team and clients while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
A general understanding of accounting and finance.
This is a part-time position with hours varying based on requirements with a typical effort estimated at 10 - 20 hours a week. This has the potential to grow into a full-time position if the candidate has the determination and takes the initiative to grow the opportunity.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
