Vehicle Description This is a very nice 1979 Trans Am, 10th anniversary car that was just traded.
It is too cold outside to detail it so more photos to come soon.
This is a rust free, solid car that runs and drives very nicely.
These cars came with every available Trans Am option as standard equipment.
The only non stock item is a hidden bluetooth sound system that sounds great.
The car has a binder with its complete history/story in it.
This car carries the Daytona 500 pace car decals.
The 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Trans Am was marketed to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Trans Am's introduction.
It made its public debut on Feb 18,1979 at the Daytona Speedway as the Official Pace Car for the Daytona 500, the first nationally televised NASCAR race.
These cars have an X in the vin number to signify they are special cars.
It is know as the Y89 silver special edition.
